Scene Presentations 2008

You are invited to Cucumber Satellite’s scene presentations at the Beaumont stage (316 West 5th Ave, Vancouver Map it) April 15th to 20th, 6pm & 8pm nightly.

It is hard to describe how exciting it is to work with these actors. They are fearless and fierce; they are playful and generous, passionate and full of rage and beauty. They are artists, and they work extremely hard to bring their dynamic individuality to this wonderful ensemble. Every time we do these presentations audiences are, at once, amazed, troubled, inspired and engaged.

As I will be taking time off to work on post-production for our feature film 'Run Rabbit Run', I decided to up the ante by giving these actors both contemporary and Shakespeare scenes. Their work is risky, provocative and staggering. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Iris MacGregor-Bannerman for her inspiring contributions to voice and Shakespeare, and to Ronan Reinart for his video work and graphic design.
